Make a plan to bring your family to Sjoa Familiy Float'n Fun! Would you like to find out what all the different river activities are, come participate in Sjoa Test'n Try. Make a team with your collegues and friends and compete against other teams in Sjoa Team Trial or the more challenging Sjoa Challenge. Are you already a river rat - next years Sjoa River Guide Race might be sprint through the class 3 rapid The Washingmachine. Two and two teams competing against each other and the better goes to next heat till we have a winner.

The last party at the Sjoa Festival this year is held at Øytun.
Saturday evening, 18th July, at 10. p.m.
Entrance: 200,- NOK. If you want to attend the banquet prior to the party, the price is 400,-.
Lots of fun and good music, the artist HARALD THUNE, THE VIKING JOHNNY CASH is playing!

Sjoa Test'n Try
3 groups rotated between testing kayaking, rafting, riverboard and bridgeswing today. There was also a nice rotation between warm rain and sun :). 2 1/2 hour was spent on each acitivity, including a warm meal halfway through the day. After instructions the participants tried padling a kayak on the water, rafting and playing in Sjoa on the great class 3 section, riverboarding i and out of eddies and down a river section, bridgeswing from the nearest bridge.

The Sjoa Festival in Heidal will be in full flow from 11th to 19th July 2009. During the course of 8 hectic and full days you can have fantastic experiences around a common theme: ACTIVITIES and COMPETITIONS in the River SJOA.
